When I try to install my new nest thermostat, I get stopped by "Sign in to continue the migration." Because I can't remember my password and when you send me a RESET EMAIL it does not arrive in my GMAIL account. It's January and my house is getting colder. Please help me.

The most likely reason for not receiving a password reset email is if you are somehow inadvertently trying to use an email account that you were NOT previously using for Google Nest and is not in Google Nest's customer database.

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".

5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
