I've had nothing but trouble with this stupid Nest thermostat since moving into this house. I've spent hours on calls with tech support and so had I've had 2 incorrect diagnostics. 1 being the base is bad and the other is my wire is bad.
My thermostat doesn't heat when set to heat. It looks on the screen the be heating but there is NO WARM AIR or any air for that matter. If I set it to cool though, there's no problem. I'm sick of waking up to the potentially urgent heating failure message. I have kids, and this can't continue. Can anyone help before I rip this effer off the wall and throw it in the trash?

We've had this problem for over a month. It's always cold in my house. We remove the thermostat everyday and charge it with a cell phone wire for about 5-8 hours and heater only seems to work throughout the night because next day it needs to be charged again. It's absolutely ridiculous! We saw that there is an adapter that plugs directly to the light so it can charge 24/7 that's our only option for now...

Can you see if you have a wire on the C terminal? Pull thermostat off base and the wiring will be visible. If you don't I bet that's the problem

No wire, do you know what are our options?
