I set my Nest thermometer at 71, but it always creeps upwards. This morning the A/C was off at 79!

Hey Docmatrix1.

Having issues with the temp during the night is not ideal, and I am sorry this is the case here. There might be a schedule set on the time that you manually set the temperature, or it could also be a learned routine on the thermostat that's overlapping the manual set point. If there is a schedule set, it will always follow the schedule rather than the manual set temperature.

For us to make sure that the thermostat will follow the temperature that we will be setting you can first reset the thermostats schedule. Here's how:

1. Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.

2. Choose Settings

3. Turn the ring to reset and press to select. Select Schedule

Observe it for a day or two and let us know me how it goes.
