I manage a 260-unit mid-rise apartment building. All our residential homes have older Nest thermostats. We are preparing for the transition to Gen4. Our HVAC pros are MacDonald-Miller, but they tell me they don't have expertise with Nests.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, I need to be able to assist MM with basic installation of Gen 4 devices without the resident present. This apparently requires special installer config of the Nest Home App and a 6-digit Pro ID.
After several web searches, I'm not finding clear guidance on how to get started. Help?
