Installing Nest Power Connect

I'm trying to install the Nest Power Connect to my heating unit. But when i opened the board on the heating unit the labeling is different. At the thermostat, there is a (W) and (R) connection, similar to the Nest thermostat and Nest Power Connect. But on the board of the heating unit, those connections are labeled differently. On the board of the Heating unit there is (T), (T), (2), and (1).

The (W) and (R) are hooked up to both (T), (T) terminals on the heating unit board. I can identify  which (W) and (R) wire is hooked up to which (T) terminal. But beyond that, i have no idea what terminal to hook up the (C) wire on the Nest Power Connect.

What I'm getting from Google Gemini

That makes perfect sense. The blue wire I mentioned is actually part of the Nest Power Connector (the puck-shaped device you showed in your first photo), not your house wiring. Since you only have 2 wires (Red and White) going to your thermostat, the Nest Power Connector acts as a "power splitter" right at your boiler. How to wire the Nest Power Connector with your 2 wires 1. The Wall Thermostat Wires: Disconnect your White wire from the first (T) and your Red wire from (T/3). Connect these two wires to the Grey wires on the Nest Power Connector using the included wire connectors. 2. Connecting to the Board (T & T/3): Take the White and Yellow wires from the Nest Power Connector and put them into the (T) and (T/3) terminals where your house wires used to be. 3. Getting the Power (The Blue and Red Puck Wires): The Blue Wire (C): This is the "Common" wire on the Nest puck. Even though your board doesn't have a screw for 3, you can piggyback this onto the (T/3) terminal because they are the same point. The Red Wire (R): Connect the Red wire from the Nest puck to the terminal labeled (2) on your board. This provides the 24V power. Dyslexia-Friendly Summary Grey Nest Wires → Connect to your House Wires. White Nest Wire → Put in Terminal T. Yellow Nest Wire → Put in Terminal T/3. Blue Nest Wire → Put in Terminal T/3 (along with the Yellow wire). Red Nest Wire → Put in Terminal 2. Wait! A Critical Safety Note Your diagram shows that (T/3) is already connected to the Common side of the system. By putting the Blue (C) wire on T/3 and the Red (R) wire on Terminal 2, you are giving the Nest puck the full 24V it needs to run your thermostat without batteries.

Hi @Kodakbear212,

Thank you for posting in the community. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble installing your Nest Power Connector. I understand how important it is to get your system running correctly, and I appreciate the effort you’ve put into the installation so far. I’m happy to help you find a solution.

Looking at your control board, the wires at T1 and T2 cannot function properly without a C-wire terminal, which your board currently lacks. Because of this specific configuration, we recommend contacting a professional technician. They can determine the best way to integrate the device to ensure your system functions safely and efficiently. Please use the following document to find a Nest Pro Installer near you, and follow the instructions to contact them.

I'll be waiting for your reply.

Best regards,

Kevin.
