Is 2.9 volts enough?

Just installed a Nest Thermostat. Needed a Nest Power Connector as there is no C wire. System says my battery is at 2.945 Volts. I believe it requires at least 3.6 volts. What do i do from here?

1. it’s a Nest thermostat 

2. Battery status is “good.” Voltage is 3.162V

3. Network status is “connected strong”

We recommend installing a C wire or a Nest Power Connector to make sure that the system will provide consistent power to the thermostat and help the thermostat work properly. Below you will find some scenarios that require a C wire or Nest Power Connector.

• When the heating or cooling is always on and won't turn off.
• Heating or cooling intermittently turns on and off in a short period of time.
• The thermostat screen shows a delay or starts in the message.
• The system fan is always running or won't turn on.
