Mistake in setting up the heat in a nest thermostat e.

I must have made a mistake when setting up my nest thermostat.  I must have said no when it asked about heating.  I have no way to set up a heater so I have no heat right now.  Resetting the thermostat doesn't let me change that setting.  I have a Nest thermostat E.

I'd suggest trying again but be sure to select "reset" vs "restart".  It should return the stat back to factory settings..

.... additionally, if you have the choice to "factory reset" choose it as it will put the 'stat back to "in the box" condition.  Then you can start from the beginning.

How do you have the Nest thermostat wired?

Can you post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring?
