Multiple Nest Thermostats--One Recognizing I am Home other is Not

NDAustin

We just purchased a home that has 2 Nest thermostats installed--one downstairs and one upstairs--in a zoned setting.  The downstairs (Living Room) thermostat recognizes accurately when I am home/away and kicks on.  The upstairs thermostat (Bedroom) never recognizes when I am home and stays on Eco unless manually adjusted.

Any setup or things I may be missing?  Both thermostats are set up for the same "Home" and from what I can see the settings are identical....

Hi NDAustin,

Thanks for reaching out. When your Nest Thermostat detects that no one is home, it's the home structure that goes to Away mode and not the thermostat itself. To isolate the issue, could you check if you have a schedule for the Nest Thermostat to go to Eco mode?

Thanks,

Edward
