My google nest thermostate can not able to connect wifi and it a show w5 code. Please someone assist me to resolve this issue

Thank you so much for reaching out to this community. I’m seeing that your thermostat is showing an error code, don’t worry, I'm here to assist you. In this case you need to perform a reset Follow these steps: 

 

  1. Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings .
  3. Select Reset.
  4. Select Restart.
  5. After your thermostat restarts, you can try to reconnect it to Wi-Fi. On your thermostat, go to Settings  Network and select the name of your Wi-Fi network.
