My learning thermostat has disconnected from the internet and now can’t find my network

My learning thermostat was showing offline in the app but was showing on the thermostat that it was connected, it then disconnected from the internet and has completely disappeared from the app and now it can’t find my internet, it can’t even find my phones hotspot when it’s right beside it, can anyone help

Your thermostat is defective. If you have a warranty then you’ll get a replacement. If not then they’ll say you need to buy a new one. Which is disappointing to say the least. Which is where I’m at. I just got off an hour call with support. I’m looking into other smart thermostats now. 

Thank you for responding, I actually managed to call them yesterday and yes my thermostat was out of warranty by 4 months but they said in this instance they would replace it free of charge, I’m doing advance replacement where they send me a new one and as long as I return the faulty unit within 21 days they won’t take the payment, sorry you didn’t get the same outcome.
