Nest 3 installment

I am have a problem trying to figure out the wire lay out for a new nest gen3 I've order. I will attach a picture of the old thermostat wire. You will see that two wires are in the same spot (w/e). I want under the house to see which is which, the heat pump doesn't have a contal board but a relay. Both wires are attach to the same input under the house.  Any help would be greatful.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd love to know more about it.

Could you please provide the make and model of your heat pump system? Also, you can locate your AC control board typically in the air handling system. A furnace control board is typically found in its blower chamber behind the bottom access panel. You can easily find it by removing the front panels of your furnace.
