Nest Dehumidifier Issues

Westin
Community Member

Hi there

I have my nest wired to my Aprilaire. When I set the humidity threshold to 55% ont he nest and the unit brings it under that number , it properly turns off dehumidification

However if I set the humidity to 50%, the unit doesn’t seem to shutoff and will continue to dehumidify, for example it’s currently at 45% humidity and still running

@Westin

How do you have the humidifier wired to the Nest?

Wired to the * as a dehumidifier

As I mentioned if it’s set to 55% it shuts off when humidity is below 55% as it properly should

it’s when it is set to 50% it doesn’t seem to shutoff and will continue running

Here is a post from last year covering a similar issue as yours. This might better explain what is going on than I can.
