Nest Disconnected, then after reset, thinks I have a heat pump

Hi there...My nest has been working fine, even after a furnace replacement a few months ago.  But it recently disconnected from wifi and I reset it...and now it will blow cold air and note that it's using aux heat.  I don't have a heat pump, just to 2-zone forced air natural gas furnace and A/C.

I haven't changed the wiring at all, but I see references to wiring and heat pumps and I have checked my settings after factory resets and reconnections and I always designate that I don't have a heat pump. But then I see that the furnace is calling for cool on my zone controller.  Help!  Any ideas?

Hello NestUser42,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Incorrect setup configuration might cause this issue. To make sure, could you please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring? This will help us verify your systems' configuration.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Mark
