Hi all, I am struggling here trying to add the missus to the app but unable to do so.
I go into the options, Family, add a home member, which opens the box 'OPEN HOME APP' which then takes me to the Google Home app but also immediately 'This invitation is no longer available'.
She has her own Google account and is in my family group.

What versions of the Google Nest app and Google Home app are you on?
If I go to Settings | Family in the Google Nest app, and then select "Open Google Home app", it opens the starting page for the Google Home app, with icons for current family members shown under our address; I can then click on the "plus" icon to add an additional member.

So i'm assuming the versions I have for the Nest app and Google Home are the latest as I've only just downloaded them.
When I go to Settings / Family it shows me the owner and beneath that the plus sign and add a home member / open Google Home app which then takes me to home page but then says 'invitation is no longer available'

I don't understand why, if your wife is already in your family group, you are trying to add her to your Google Nest "household", and I don't understand why you're getting the message "This invitation is no longer available."
You could try deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app, and then open the Google Home app, select Settings, and see if your wife is already a member of your "household", and if not, click on the plus (+) icon and try adding her.

Hi thanks for your reply again.
I have deleted and reinstalled Google home and the Nest app but still exactly the same result.
I am a bit late for the chat but will try in the morning.

Hi so it seems a little user error on my side as I had to change accounts, I assumed adding the Nest would would just go into my home account but seemed to open a new account so semi sorted now will just have to try and merge them.
