I am having trouble connecting a nest thermostat that has an R, W2, W1, Y, G, O, & B wires connected to the old thermostat. I have a heat pump for heating and forced air for cooling. Learning thermostat has a dual O/B port. Is my wiring compatable? Above image is old thermostat wiring setup.

I have the same question. Our system requires separate O and B lines from the thermostat to tell it whether to be in cool or heat mode. I'm tempted to connect the W (heat) and Y(cool) wires to the B (heat) and O (cool) to do the job. Not rushing on this one, but if someone out there has any ideas...

I managed to get my thermostat configured properly this morning. It turned out the problem I had was the O/B setting on the thermostat was set to B and when Ichanged it to O, the hot air in cooling switched to cold air and my room cooled. I hope this tip and my final wiring configuration up above helps.
