2.5yrs old Nest Learning thermostat Gen3. Started showing low battery and had to recharge everyday. Then hired a technician to install a C wire. Paid $150 for this service. But the technician recommends to replace as it may die out soon. After contacting Nest Thermostat support team, he says its out of warranty and go for a new one. Not sure after spending couple of hundreds for this s**t piece, if its failing, who would recommend this Nest thermostats again?

Hello KiranK,
I'm sorry for the experience. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.
Could you provide us the Case number from your previous report? This will help us look for more options available to you. Also, could you please check your thermostat's power readouts in its Technical Info settings?
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark

Hey there,
Thanks for sharing the case number, and it appears everything has been discussed. I'm afraid that we can no longer have it replaced for you as the Nest Learning Thermostat's warranty period lasts for 2 years. You may visit the Google Store to see if there are on-going promotions for Google Nest Thermostats in your country. Also, you can review our warranty information here. I hope you understand.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. as this thread will be locked within 24 hours.

Mark
