I installed a 4th generation Nest thermostat yesterday, and although it worked fine initially, it continued to run and the temperature rose from 75°F to 85°F even after I turned it off. The screen indicates 'off,' but it has been running for several hours. I also switched off the control in the garage, yet it still won't stop. It's been two days, and it's still functioning abnormally.its been very frustrating experience, awful design and support.
