Nest Thermostat Compatibility

Hi, the Nest installation app says my thermostat is incompatible.  I have the older "Nest Thermostat".

As you can see in the photo, my existing thermostat has wires connected to E, Y, G, R, B, and C with a jumper from E to AUX.  Any idea why this is not compatible?  Or any workarounds?  Thanks in advance.

FYI, I have not verified any terminations on the equipment end, but can do that if necessary.

Your thermostat is compatible with any Nest thermostat.

Suggested wiring

White - E to W2 or W (set to aux heat) (Jumper to W2 not needed)

Yellow - Y to Y1 or Y

Red - R to Rc or R

Orange - B to OB or */OB

Brown - C to C

The "or" is for the Google Nest Thermostat
