Hey all,
Looking for some assistance as to why my nest is blowing heat in both heat mode and cool mode.
The system is a heat pump, and zoned with a honeywell hz322.
I installed nests throughout the house this winter and heat was working without any issues. Now that it is getting warmer, I kicked on the cool mode to find that heat is also coming out from the vents.
To rule out any HVAC unit issues, I temporarily hooked up the original honeywell thermostat... and everything works as it should.
I have tried the following:
- switched O/B wires in the settings as recommended by some posts on here, but it didn't solve my issue
- factory reset and re-setup the unit, also didnt do anything
Photos of the previous wiring and nest wiring can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/G4Gbheq
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully its just something silly that I overlooked 🙂

welp, sure looks like Google nest loves to leave its customers high and dry. I think both my base plates have failed and replacements arent available. Zero support from these Community Experts either.
