My Nest Thermostat is not showing on my Android phone app, only the Nest logo and "Away" and local temp.

I can’t get the entry code from my nest e thermostat to link it to my new phone.

Hi folks,
@Schooner75, yikes! Could you log out of your Nest account and sign in again? But this time, click on Sign in with Google instead of Sign in with Nest to proceed.
@Jrken, on your thermostat, go to Settings > Nest app, and you'll see an option to get an entry key or scan a QR code.

Going on my thermostat under “net app” it said it was already connected to an account and even though I scanned the QR code I could not get an entry code. After reading more help information I found that I had to go to the “reset” section of the thermostat menu and select “account setting” and remove the thermostat from the account. Once that was done I was able to get an entry code and was able to link my new phone.
Seems rather complicated to just add my new phone, but it worked.
