I have a 3rd Gen Nest Thermostat which has been working fine since June 2023.
16 days ago, when we were away, it lost wifi connectivity and would not reconnect despite numerous attempts. (The thermostat is in the next room to the Router).
2 days ago the Nest Thermostat also stopped controlling the heat & water. It shuts down due to lower power when trying to troubleshoot, and is blinking red. Today I charged it for 5hrs via a USB-C, but upon connecting to the base unit to test again the battery was only at 3.414v which decreased every few seconds before shutting off again due to low battery. The other settings, if it's helpful, are Vusb 0.01v, Vin 11.41v, Lin 200mA (c).
The unit is within the 2yr warranty period. Any advice/help on how I can either get it working again or get it replaced asap gratefully received (as it's really cold!)

Hi KazBaz789,
Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat is not working due to a low battery, though you've already charged it. Are you located in North America or Europe? And does your Nest Learning Thermostat have a C wire connected to its base?
Keep us posted.
Best,
Zoe

Hi ssin,
Thanks for posting. Could you tell us more about the issue with your Nest Thermostat so I can take a closer look at it?
