Nest Thermostat

I updated my router with the same username & password.  The previously installed Nest thermostat connects to the WiFi but states "Account Disconnected".  The Home App is stuck in a wiring diagram. Not sure what to try next.  Please help.

you will have to reset the thermostat.

@rcmartin9, I saw your post and wanted to chime in. Let's sort this out. 

 

Please follow the steps here:

 

  1. On your Nest Thermostat. Remove the display from its base and take out the batteries for 3 minutes before plugging them back in  to restart.
  2. If your thermostat is still visible in the Google Home app, select the thermostat icon and go to the settings to remove it.
  3. After the thermostat is removed, proceed by adding it back in the Google Home app. Here's your guide on how to set up the thermostat.
