Nest Won't Turn Off Heat

BrandynB

Hello,

Just purchased the Nest Learning Thermo. Living in Oklahoma right now it's cold one day and hot the next, so I have to flip modes frequently. Yesterday after install it was on cool mode. I noticed it seemed to be flipped when the furnace kicked in. cool mode was blowing warm and vise versa. I believe I solved this by adjusting the equipment settings and cold was blowing cold after. It is 40 here today so I set it to warm to 70 last night. Woke up today and the house temp is at 81 and still blowing, but the heat is still set to 70. Any ideas on what I need to adjust? I believe I wired it correctly according to what it was on the previous Honeywell. This thread had the same issue as well. I did as suggested and pulled the nest off the wall and the furnace kicked off after a little so it seems to be a settings issue on the nest itself? I will post pictures and screenshots of the setup.

It says I don't have permission to upload when trying to drag over pictures of the setup. As an update, I set the nest mode to off, and it shows off on the device, but the heat is still blowing. It only stops after a few minutes when pulling it off the wall.
