Nest doesn’t read humidity correctly by 12%

I have a third generation nest thermostat. It controls my humidity however nest unity is off by 12%. It’s 12% high I don’t understand why they can’t adjust this. They must know it’s wrong because I’ve read many many reviews about it but yet nothing is done, so what good is it if it’s not at least close to being accurate?!

Hi Don1216,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry for the delay. I'd love to help.

Following these steps might help:

  1. Remove your Nest Thermostat display from its base for about 5 seconds.
  2. Reattach the display.
  3. Wait for 10 seconds.
  4. Check your thermostat humidity readout.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best,

Jenelyn
