Nest eco mode and schedules

I have created my schedules to reflect when I work from home and when I go into work. I am using auto sense so that the thermostat will go into eco mode when I am away. Does the thermostat stay in eco mode or will it use early on to start warming up when on the next scheduled cycle?

Hi tommytmi,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. The Nest Thermostat will bypass its schedules if your Home/Away Assist is on. Therefore, when you're away, your thermostat will stay in Eco mode.
