How do I put the nest gen 3 thermostat on permanent hold

Hi @Montanaken,

 

Thank you so much for posting in this community! I completely understand that you want to maintain a specific temperature on your Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen). I'd like to let you know that this feature is only available on the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) and the Nest Thermostat.

With your model, the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen), you can set a PIN code to restrict the temperature range for either Heat or Cool mode. The smallest range you can set is 5°F. However, when using Heat•Cool mode, the smallest range you can set on the thermostat is 2°F.
