Nest gen3 heating during night

Hi everyone

I just installed a nest gen3 yesterday. 

In the app I have set  heating at 7am to 21°c and at 12am to 21°c. 

This for the entire week. 

But I think this might be wrong. The idea was to only heat the house to 21°c between 7am and 12am midnight. 

But during the night I noticed the heater starting up multiple times. 

I don't know how self learning works. So it was off, since I want it to just be on during the hours I am used to. 

Anybody have any advice?

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Since you've just installed your Nest Thermostat, it will take a couple of more days to learn the temperature schedule you've made. Also, check out these temperature schedule guidelines to give you more ideas on how to get the best results by setting up your own temperature schedule.
