Dear community,
I have a Nest Gen 3 learning thermostat working in conjunction with a Vaillant ecoTEC plus VHR NL 35-38/5-5 (model 2020) that came fitted with the OpenTherm module VR33.
It seems that the OpenTherm function is able to modulate the flame level (which is the main function) but it is not able to read and modify the domestic hot water (max) temperature nor the heating circuit (max) water temperature. It shows "equipment control - not connected" in the app where you have the slider for DHW temperature)
This bothers and frustrated me because with the previous boiler Remeha Avanta 35C (model 2009) all these functions were available so I was expecting from a newer boiler to be "smarter".
So, my question is: does anyone have technical expertise on this setup, Nest G3 + OpenTherm + Vaillant VR33 module so I can set up all signals correctly?
P.S. Yes, I have tried Vaillant but they declined the competence towards Nest support...

Thanks Vicente. I think we all know the answer, Nest Learning Thermostat cannot manage Vaillant boiler's water temperature parameters. This brings me to the real question, where I can return the Nest Thermostat for lack of conformity and get my money back according to EU law?
