Nest heating offline

Hi, My nest app keeps saying its offline, we use it with alexa to control the heating. Never had any problems before, it's been like it for the last few weeks. I did a reset on the actual thermostat, and uninstall/ reinstalled it. Was OK for a while, but started again. Husband is blind so we rely on it being connected to alexa for him. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Do you know if you have a C wire connected to the Nest? If you pull it off the base and post a picture of the wires we can help you.

It's back on, but does keep drooping out sometimes.
