Nest heatlink unit is dead/no power

Our heatlink has suddenly stopped working, no lights at all.

It's 18 months old, never had a problem.

Tried everything. What's the quickest way to get this sorted please?

Appreciate the help.

Hey @Sarahlou,

I'm sorry to hear about your issue, but I'll do my best to help.

If you have not already make sure to double check all breakers and switches to make sure nothing has tripped. Also check the boiler as it can have a separate isolation switch sometimes. Confirm the boiler has power, it should have a LED or display that turns on.

If it all looks good try and power cycle the Heat Link, if you're comfortable in doing so. Turn the power off to the Heat Link for a few minutes and then turn it back on. See if it has any reaction when you press the button on it after.

Thanks AnaM, appreciate your help.

Nothing has tripped and the boiler has power, thankfully it's powering downstairs which runs independently of the Nest set up which is for upstairs only.

Google are sending a new Heatlink, but clearly the whole thing is an out & out nuisance - especially as it's tried to snow this week already!

Im trying to find a solution to bypass the Nest equipment altogether, as we just need to call heating & water to upstairs; which remains available downstairs. Do you have any ideas?

I'm happy to hear you're getting a replacement Heat Link @Sarahlou.

You can check whether the boiler has an Manual Mode, that will bypass the Nest system. Also, when you got the replacement confirmation email, did it say that you can get a temporary thermostat until it arrives and that we will cover the costs?
