Nest list functionality on new phone

I was able to see and control temperature on my phone.  Bought new phone and now cannot see/ change temperature.  Google says to enter entry key which I cannot access because nest already setup. I'm signed into Google but that didn't help.

It seems you've successfully set up your Nest thermostat on a previous phone but are unable to access and control it on your new device. You've also encountered difficulties with the entry key, as it's typically used for initial setup.

Lest work on this together:

  1. Check Google Account Sync:
    • Ensure you're logged in to the same Google account on both phones.
    • Verify that Google Home app settings allow for data syncing.
  2. Re-add Nest Thermostat to Google Home App:
    • Open the Google Home app on your new phone.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
    • You might be prompted to re-enter Wi-Fi credentials for the thermostat.
