Nest power connect

Has anybody heard of this before? I recently installed the new Nest thermostat the one that looks like the mirror face. I have a heat only three zone system. With 18/3 ran in the wall. On the old thermostat on the r and W was hooked up. Was going to use the third wire as a C wire but always got low voltage notice from nest. So I went and got the power connect hope that up everything seems to be fine accept the voltage on my thermostat says 2.86 volts. I've had it hooked up for about 2 weeks now and I got one warning saying not getting constant voltage? If I'm right it should be somewheres around 3.6 volts on the nest. Doesn't make any sense to me . Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thanks again

You should have 24volts A/C across R and C

Make sure your common wire is connected inside furnace as well as on thermostat
