My nest suddenly is powering off saying it needs to charge. Confused. It won't work

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Nest Thermostats consumes its batteries when it does some software updates or if the thermostat didn't get a support power from the wires connected to it. If you have a Micro USB cable, you can use that to charge your thermostat for an hour. The ideal battery for Nest Thermostat should be at least 3.7 or 3.8 above.
Also, could you please share the photo of your thermostat wiring?

We gave up and had to buy a new one. It would not work even after charging it. The furnace repair guy couldn't even get it to work
