Nest - remove account is not an option for me.

I got a new phone and opened the nest app and it didn't  see my existing  account  so it created a new one under my Gmail.  Currently  I have an account linked to a different  email. The new one of course doesn't  have my profile information  or devices.  When I logged out and then into the original account it suggest I migrate to Gmail,   when I do that it says that account already exists and to pick a different  one.  I then attempted to delete the Gmail one that was created, but delete is not an option like it is on my original account.  How do I remove the Gmail one so I can perform the migration?
