Hello @Eke

Welcome to the Nest Community!

I understand that replacing your Nest thermostat display can be confusing. Let's get you back up and running.

Yes, you can reuse the base and receiver with your new Nest thermostat.

To pair the new display, you can check this help page: How to pair the Nest thermostat and Heat Link, basically you need to:

  • Remove the old display from the Nest app.
  • Add the new display to the app through the settings menu.
  • Enter the pairing code from the thermostat's Heat Link.

If you encounter any situation, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help!

Best regards,

Douglas.

Hello @Eke

Thanks for your reply

Don't worry if your thermostat is connected with the heat link and with the WiFi, all is set, and you can control your temperature remotely by the app.

Feel free to keep us posting if you have more questions. We are happy to help you.

Best regards,

Douglas.
