Nest thermostat 3 switch interval in a hour

Hello.

it looks like that my nest thermostat switch off/on multi times in a hour when the temp is not reach yet. Did give a problem with my heater pump.

is there a option that I can change the interval?

Thanks for bringing this up here in the Google Nest community. I need a couple of other pieces of information to get a closer look at this. Follow the steps below:

• Gather Nest Thermostat power readings in Settings > Technical Info. (VOC, VIN, LIN, and battery level)
• Send us a photo of the Nest Thermostat wiring and control board wiring.

What I want to know is if the nest thermostat do a (PWM controls) on/off switch every 15 - 20min when temperature is not reach yet. 

Systems with PWM allow the heat pump to make far too short runs. This situation have we with our heat pomp.

So I was wondering if the nest do this also??

Hey Joadebos,

This is a good question, but currently there are no PWM controls on the Nest Thermostat. The power reading will help us to check if there is a problem with the supply of power from your HVAC to the Nest Thermostat.
