Nest thermostat air conditioner doesn't show cool any more?

I"ve have had Nest since the replacement of my new air-conditioner.  Two weeks ago the cool just disappeared off the dial.  I have not been able to put it back on the system therefore no air!  Please help

Hey there datianak, 

Sorry to hear that the cooling option has disappeared for you. I can definitely understand the concerns with this heat, and am happy to look into this for you. 

If you are not getting the cool mode on the Nest thermostat, please do make sure that the wiring for your A/C is properly connected to the Y1 terminal, If there possible you may remove the wire connected to the Y1 and make sure that there are 1/2 inch of wire exposed to make sure that it will be properly connected to the Nest base. 

Note:  Before doing these steps please do make sure that the breakers are off for your safety
