Nest thermostat for Inverter Air Conditioners

Can Nest thermostats work with O'General Inverter Air Conditioners. We have issues as currently we've been told that the inverter technology is not compatible with Nest thermostats & the humidity level have just **bleep** up above 70%. Any suggestions on how to make the Nest thermostat work with the new Inverter AC technology.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. 

Google Nest Thermostats are designed to work with most 24 V systems. They work with all common fuel types, including natural gas, oil, and electricity. Since an inverted AC is being controlled remotely, this is not compatible with our Nest Thermostat, as it needs wires to be connected to it from the HVAC system, your source of comfort. In this case, you should read the manufacturer's recommendations or call the manufacturer of your inverted AC to determine which thermostat is right for your system.
