I have been using my Nest Learning thermostat for about 2 years now without issues. However, it started acting up today.
When I have the mode set to Heat and the temperature setting above the current temperature, my circulation fan starts up but then my heater will oscillate On/Off. It will stay on anywhere between 1-5 seconds and then turn off. Then restart again in about 2 seconds. The entire time the circulating fan stays on. At the same time, there will be a quick green and then orange indicator light. The heater never really turns on and I can only get the circulating fan to stop if I drop the temperature setpoint below the current temperature.
When I have the mode set to Off, there doesn't seem to be any problems. There are no blinking orange or green lights.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
I've tried removing it from the wall and plugging in a micro USB in case it was a battery power thing (left it for 5 hours).
Also tried rebooting it by pushing it down for 10 secs.
