Nest thermostat not connecting after software ware update

Can anyone help me?  I am having problems connecting my thermostat back to nest home and google home. I can load to both but it's not controlling my thermostat. This started after a software up date. I have now got four controls ie off cool. cool and heat .and heat. Only had off and heat before.

Have you tried restarting the thermostat or reset?

Yes tried that and more. Problem now solved after talking to service provider. They changed their IPV file which as cause a lot of people problems. Thanks for your reply.
