Nest thermostat showing wrong outside weather

VegasDon

It's 79 degrees outside but my thermostat shows 39 and raining.  Google says to check the location on the thermostat settings but there is no option for location. The location on the app is correct

Hey VegasDon,

Sorry for the delay but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community.

On your Nest thermostat, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press the ring to open the Quick View Menu.
  2. Turn the ring to Settings and press to select.
  3. Turn the ring to find Location. You will find your address there.
    • If it isn’t right, press the ring to open location settings. Select Location on the next screen and press the ring. Follow the thermostat’s instructions to set your location information again.

If the location is correct, check that The Weather Channel has information for your location. If no weather information is available for your home's location or an incorrect weather appears, visit https://bit.ly/3xcRPre for support.

Best,

Melba
