Nest thermostat

I've been error code "e74". No power to rh wire. I go and check the circuit breaker and it doesn't seem to be tripped. I trip and reset it and the power returns. Is it the breaker, the hvac or the thermostat? I recently had the hvac serviced for a bad limit switch. Do i have a bad breaker now?

Hi Deebodav,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. E74 code will show if the thermostat wasn't able to receive power from your power wire connected to the RH terminal. During the hot summer months, if your HVAC system breaks down, it may stop sending power to your Google Nest thermostat. Power cycling the breaker will resolve the issue. I suggest monitoring it to make sure everything is working fine.

Best,

Jenelyn
