Nest thermostat

I'm so frustrated for many years my NEST thermostat works 100% after I sync this to Google that's when the problem begin I can't even control the temperature when I'm out of town. It open up my I only have an icon HOME no recent activity on the bottom another icon AWAY both are grayed out. I already reset my thermostat as well my router. Same issue I can control the temperature of the house. HELP!!

That google app is so bad – it's unfortunate that they are removing the nest app. Time for change...
