We've recently moved into a new home and are trying to set the existing Thermostat E and Heatlink. The issue we have is that the Heatlink has been installed in a really awkward place with little to no access (we're assuming it was installed and then the boiler cover was added later). We can just about press the button in the middle to get the blue light to flash but there is no way for us to access the QR code or six-digit code to connect it to the thermostat - are there any other options? I can't seem to get past that page on the nest app without one of the two

Hi RBlom,
Thanks for posting in the community! I understand you've recently moved and are trying to set up your existing Nest Thermostat E and Heat Link. However, the Heat Link has been installed in a hard-to-reach spot (likely behind the boiler cover), which is preventing you from accessing the necessary QR code or six-digit entry code printed on the Heat Link unit. I'm happy to help you with the information you need!
At the moment, there's no alternative way to proceed with the setup besides getting the required information from the Heat Link. You'll need to gain access to the device to scan the QR code or manually enter the six-digit code printed on the unit.
If you don't feel comfortable moving or accessing the Heat Link, consider contacting a qualified, independent Nest Pro installer in your area to securely access the device for you.
Please feel free to post any questions you have in this forum.
Sincerely,
Juan
