Thanks for posting here. Let's sort out what dies green blinking light means.
Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermsostat do you have? A blinking green light will appear if your Nest Thermostat is turning on, restarting, or its software is updating. If the lights continue to blink for more than 5 minutes, remove and reconnect the display. If the light is still blinking after reconnecting the device, restart it by holding down the thermostat ring for 10 seconds. You may also perform a simple maintenance on your thermostat by turning off the power to your thermostat from the breaker box, then removing the thermostat display from its base, then reconnecting each wire of the thermostat, making sure that the wires are properly connected. Turn on the power to your thermostat, then place the thermostat display back at its base and check if the green blinking light has stopped blinking.
