We have a 3rd gen. Nest connected to our 25 year old gas furnace. In the spring I went to "Off" mode. What happens to the pilot in the furnace in this mode? The furnace is cold and there no hint of the pilot remaining on. Do I just return to heat mode in the fall and the pilot will come on?
