On Nest - Desktop Login should NOT ask the email verification every time. It MUST remember like App.

It is waste of time to use 2-steps every time, on the Nest program (to access by desktop). 

It must be an option for users if they want to use 2-step verification or don't want to use that feature.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience the 2-step verification login caused you. I understand it's only for account security purposes, but I'd love to help.

Disabling this account feature is possible by managing your account itself. To do this, please follow these steps:

 

On your phone:

  1. On the Nest app's home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Select Account > Manage Account.
  3. Tap Account Security.
  4. Select 2-Step Verification.
  5. Tap the switch to turn off 2-Step Verification.
    1. Follow the prompts to enter your email password and the temporary verification code sent to your existing phone. You'll then be asked to confirm that you want to turn off 2-Step Verification.

 

On the Web browser:

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Go to https://goo.gle/35BxQSE and login with the email associated with your Nest.
  3. Click Security and select 2-Step Verification.
  4. Follow the prompts to disable it.
