Thanks for posting. You can try adjusting the thermostat settings to ensure that the heating system uses stage 1 instead of stage 2 for morning heating. Follow these:
- On your thermostat, look for a button or menu option that allows you to access the Settings. This is typically indicated by a gear icon or a menu button.
- Go to the heating settings which are located in the Settings menu. Make sure to check the heat staging or heat pump settings.
- The heating settings should have an option to set the preferred stage or configure the staging. Use stage 1 or single stage heating setting.
- Ensure that you have set the desired temperature for your morning heating. This is the temperature that you want the thermostat to reach using stage 1 heating.
- After you have made those changes, click the save button and exit the settings page. Now, you should program your thermostat to activate stage one heating in the morning.
