Problems with Nest thermostst

I have a Nest thermostat.  What a piece of crap!  It automatically and without authorization changes the password, I know that because I write down the password each time I make a new one. Then when I try to re-set the password it refuses to let me do that.  Don't buy this device you will be sorry.  I am ready to tear it from the wall.  Also there is no tech support.  Can't contact the supplier and the on-line assistance is completely useless.

The Nest Thermostat does not have the capability to change the password on its own. Could you tell us what message are you seeing on your thermostat's display?
