As the thread title says, in the UK energy prices are astronomical after our government and energy regulator have failed to protect consumers like France and other European countries and as a result we are paying more for energy than any other country.
To that end, it's important for us to manage our energy use and look back over historical data to identify when energy use was high etc.
Unfortunately, nest only offers 10 days through the app. Is there a way to obtain more data or provide customers with historical data? I'm assuming Google aren't destroying the data after 10 days and making use of it for commercial purposes? So why not let customers access it - just like Google maps for example?
I am aware this was not always the case. Before Google purchased Nest, we could download a spreadsheet of historical data. So why not now?
